International Jazz Vocalist June Garber Brings “A Journey Through the Moods of Vocal Jazz” to Nambour

Nambour, QLD  – The Jazz Sessions at The Presynct continues to deliver standout performances, and this month, they welcome a true global talent to the stage.  The June Garber Quintet presents a programme of vocal jazz that explores the emotional breadth of the genre, from intimate torch songs to energetic swing. Supported by an outstanding ensemble, June Garber performs a selection of well-known standards alongside lesser-known repertoire, each chosen for its expressive depth and musical character.

Lunch at Lucio’s Marina is a special Jazz Festival event curated to combine relaxation, enjoyment and indulgence with a menu to delight your taste and jazz to match the mood and occasion. The band will entertain you throughout lunch with a selection of familiar songs, some romantic and nostalgic and some with an Italian swing that will have you feeling you are right there in Italy enjoying a long, lazy lunch.

Overlooking the Noosa River, Lucio’s restaurant was established by Matteo to continue their long family tradition of providing great food and hospitality within a thriving food community. Matteo continues this tradition by combining quality local fare with Italian culture.

The music will be the jazz sound you will love and the food will be traditional – 3 courses served at long tables with Lucio’s signature touch.

The June Garber Quintet presents a programme of vocal jazz that explores the emotional breadth of the genre, from intimate torch songs to energetic swing. Supported by an outstanding ensemble, June Garber performs a selection of well-known standards alongside lesser-known repertoire, each chosen for its expressive depth and musical character.
Renowned in Canada for her ability to convey both the mood and meaning of a song, June now brings her refined artistry to audiences on the Sunshine Coast. She has released four albums, including Off the Carousel (2021) and This I Know (2016).
